Gmail won't come in on my desktop

No email in inbox
On the 3-23 email worked fine On the 24  email
quit nothing in inbox and nothing in spam . Then I deleted all my emails.
In the trash I have all emails up to the 23d I deleted them
and restored computer to a later date. no help there.
regsvr32 urlmon.dll loads ok
these 3 do not.shdocw.dll
mshtmi.dll
broweui.dll
Would these have anything to do with my email quit working?
And if so what can I do to make them work?

1. Are you downloading using an email program? If so, what program?
2. If you go to the gmail site to read your email instead of using a program, what browser are you using? Have you tired a different browser?
3. What version of Windows are you running? If not Windows, what OS as well as version are you running?

That makes no sense. You can restore a computer to an earlier date.

I have email to my inbox but now I have to go to gmail.com to get my email.
I think my w-10 version is 1903. I've been using. Microsoft edge.
I meant I restored to earlier date. Thanks for your input. I don't need to have my email
in the inbox but I really would like to know what caused it.

You failed to mention how you get the email to your inbox. You have to be using a program to do this, otherwise you'd always go to gmail.com to get your email.

Sorry but neither of those posts help. Microsoft has lots of programs.
What do you click on your computer to get email? Post a picture of the icon.

That alphanumeric string with client ID means nothing to me.

Does it look something like the attached picture? When you open it, if you do not have an email open to read do you see a picture of a snowy mountain in the background with some trees in the foreground?

If yes, this is the Modern UI Mail app (or Universal app or whatever Microsoft's calling it now). You may need to delete and then add your Gmail account back.

Yes that's the blue one .I added Microsoft so google sends that email to my inbox.
