Adblocking sources

I have a domain controller on the home network that provides DNS, and for a while I've used the MVPS Hosts file as a DNS sinkhole source, but I'm curious if anyone has used other sources for this. If, for example, you're using Pi-hole for this, what sources are you using for ad lists, and do you find them to break websites or such? For example, I've found MVPS Hosts to break Google calendar integration on websites, so I wind up pulling those related entries out.
