Hi guys!

I am baffled by this!

I don't know what he clicked or did to unenable the print.  If he did, that is.  Maybe it is another problem.  I am not sure.

The print is even shaded (unenabled) when I click "file" at the top.  The print is shaded there as well.

The only way I can actually print is if I literally open the email up, in a separate window.  Then the print icon in that window is lit up and able to be clicked.

It is weird.

Any ideas or suggestions??

I figured it out!  hehehe

I had changed the layout from having the preview pane showing to not showing it at all.

So since it didn't have the email previewed in the list, it didn't have anything to print.  So the print button was unenabled, since there it isn't going to print the inbox list!  hehehe

So it was ME that caused the problem...not him!  ROFL

I got it figured out.

But at least he was able to see how to post in here and how to ask for help when I am gone and on my way to Sweden!

Thanks!

Yep ... the preview pane is the culprit ...

IMO, a good idea to disable it.  It's not worth the risk of catching a worm or virus by just previewing a message.

I second your opinion on disabling it...
It's a functionality that also ought to be disabled by default in MS Outlook.

Altho that is a good reason to disable it, that isn't the reason why I did.  hehehe

Postman has troubles with controlling his mouse and working the scrolling wheel on his mouse.

When having the preview pane enabled, he had to use that more.  Without it, he doesn't need to scroll as much unless he gets a ton of email in his inbox.

Now he just struggles with opening the mail by double clicking.  hehehe Altho I know he can right click (left click in his case) and then click open, I am trying to get him used to the double clicking.  I have already slowed the double clicking speed down 3 times. ;)  He is getting alot better tho.  Usually he can get it on the 2nd or 3rd try now.

BTW....I know you guys probably won't remember this, but if you could it would be GREAT.

If you are helping him, while I am in my transition of moving to Sweden, keep in mind that he is left handed so I have switched his primary and secondary mouse buttons.  So if you need to tell him to right click, it is left click to him!  hehehe
