How do you pronounce OMICRON

I got surprised when I read these articles, because actually there is no correct answer about how to pronounce Omicron in there.  :)

Things are simple.
As you know, Omicron is the 15th letter of the Greek alphabet. To pronounce it:

O >> As you say ON (without the N of course). But not as you say OLD or OH or OHH or AHH etc.
MI >> As you say the musical note MI
CRON >> As you say ... KRON  ;D

Now try to say it.  8)

Because I was used to micron from my math/maths background, of course I pronounced it incorrectly. (I said O - micron)  Then I listened to a few YouTube pronunciation presentations.

I always try to find a pronunciation that I can hear rather than read when presented with an unfamiliar word.
